Linear Abrasive produces high-performance through-feed grinding machines for every requirement.
Each machine is individually planned and fine-tuned to meet the requirements of the workpiece involved so that every customer can be sure of getting a tailor-made solution. At the same time, each machine is a combination of proven engineering and advanced technology, and offers unique performance in terms of both static and dynamic behavior. Every Linear Abrasive high-performance grinding machine has a composite main frame made of grey cast iron and concrete. That gives it the rigidity needed to prevent vibrations developing at high cutting speeds – and we know why that is of such prime importance.
Depending on the customer's basic grinding operations and special requirements, the machines are fitted with a variety of additional assemblies and in some cases with sophisticated handling equipment, too. It is part of our philosophy that, wherever possible and desirable, a modern through-feed grinding machine should be capable of productive operation for multiple-shift or around-the-clock working environments.
Our aim is to offer solutions to meet customer requirements in full – for every workpiece, whatever the type, shape or material is. Also, our machines can be used for grinding non-magnetic parts, while profiling – single or double-sided – can be handled, too. And it goes without saying that our machines can grind both sides of a workpiece in a single pass, with accurate shaping to the tightest tolerances.
