Bookable GDPR advice sessions

Audit, compliance project, meeting with the outsourced DPO: clients book online

Your clients open Appointment booking, pick the type of appointment, initial audit, follow-up or inspection preparation, and book a free slot in the relevant consultant's calendar, synced with Google Calendar. With every booking, you and your client receive a confirmation email.

A GDPR self-assessment, built by AI

Describe the questionnaire, the AI Extension Builder builds it in your app

Describe the questionnaire you want in the back office, for example “a ten-question GDPR self-assessment, with the points to review depending on the answers”, and the AI Extension Builder generates the section in your app, in your design. You set the questions and the conclusions: the result leads to a meeting, it does not replace your audit.

Data subject requests, received in the app

A form for access, rectification or erasure requests

Add a Form section with the fields you need: identity, right exercised, message, supporting document. Each request reaches you by email and can be exported as CSV. Answering it remains your responsibility, within the legal deadlines.

Your GDPR updates, published in the app

Regulator decisions, guidelines, case law: your analyses arrive as notifications

Publish your analyses in the app and alert your clients with a push for each new article. With User groups, keep some memos for clients under contract. Your updates reach their phone, where they read them.

Setting up your app's compliance: what you do, in practice

Three Privacy Center tabs to go through before publishing.
  1. Permissions

Review the list of authorizations your features request on the phone, with their explanation, and switch off the ones you don't need.
  2. Consent

Turn on consent management for the European Union: users make their choices in a clear interface, and the app respects them.
  3. Notices and terms

Enter your DPO's contact details and, where required, your EU representative; review the prefilled terms and conditions and privacy policy, then publish them.

What the Privacy Center handles for your app

Data hosted in Europe

The data of the app and of its users stays on European servers. Privacy and compliance

Consent collected properly

The built-in consent management platform supports IAB TCF v2 and Google Funding Choices.

Permissions kept to the strict minimum

The Permissions tab lists the authorizations your features request on the phone, explains them in plain words and lets you switch off the others.

No hidden libraries

A feature's code only goes into the app if you turn the feature on; turn it off and the code is gone from the next version.

DPO details and terms and conditions

DPO contact details, EU representative, terms and conditions and privacy policy prefilled with the features actually in the app.

Germany-specific rules

A dedicated option lets you switch off some Google services, such as Google Fonts.

AI in a GDPR firm's app

Three concrete uses, with their price.
To answer

An assistant that answers from your updates

“What is a record of processing activities?” The Chatbot searches the articles published in your app and answers in the language of the question. It relies on your updates; the analysis of a processing operation remains yours.
29€/month
To extend

A ten-question self-assessment

Describe the section you want in the back office, and the AI Extension Builder generates the questionnaire in your app, in your design. You set the questions and the conclusions.
Free
To operate

An analysis published from Claude or ChatGPT

The MCP server connects your app to the AI assistant you already use: you ask it to publish your memo on the latest decision, you confirm, it runs on your app.

The data protection law firm

Its clients book an audit in the app, read its updates and fill in the self-assessment before the first meeting.

The outsourced DPO

They publish a monthly memo for clients under contract, in a section reserved for them, and alert them with a push.

The general practice opening a data protection team

It keeps a single app, with one calendar per lawyer, and a section dedicated to data protection.

Three situations where a GDPR-ready app makes the difference

What about yours? Create the app, set up the Privacy Center and test it for 30 days, no credit card required.

How much does a GDPR-ready mobile app cost?

A native iOS and Android app starts with the Premium plan. The Privacy Center is part of the platform, with no extension to add; Appointment booking is added to the Premium plan, and the Pro plan includes it.
Premium · iOS, Android and web app55€ /month, billed yearly
Appointment booking, with Premium15€ /month
Pro · Appointment booking included105€ /month, billed yearly
User groups are added if you keep memos for clients under contract. Apple and Google developer accounts are paid separately, directly to the stores.

GDPR and mobile apps: frequently asked questions

Is an app built with GoodBarber GDPR compliant?

The platform provides what depends on the app: data hosted in Europe, consent management, permissions kept to the strict minimum, DPO details, prefilled terms and conditions and privacy policy. Compliance also depends on what you collect and how you process it: your record of processing, your policy and your answers to requests complete it.

Where is the data of a GoodBarber app hosted?

On servers located in Europe, for the app's data as well as its users' data.

How does the app collect users' consent?

Through the consent management platform built into the Privacy Center, compatible with IAB TCF v2 and Google Funding Choices. Users make their choices in a clear interface, and the app respects them.

Does the app request unnecessary permissions on the phone?

Not by default: the Permissions tab only requests the authorizations needed by the features turned on, explains them in plain words and lets you switch off the others. The code of a feature you turn off is removed from the app in the next version.

Who writes the terms and conditions and the privacy policy?

The Privacy Center generates templates prefilled with your information and the features actually in the app. You review them, complete them if needed, then publish them.

Can the app receive access or erasure requests?

Yes, through a Form section you design: identity, right exercised, message, supporting document. Each request reaches you by email and can be exported as CSV; answering it remains your responsibility, within the legal deadlines.

Are Germany's rules taken into account?

Yes: a dedicated option lets you switch off some Google services, such as Google Fonts, to follow expectations specific to Germany.
