The start of the feature for all, the rest for subscribers

You set how many paragraphs are visible before the invitation to subscribe

On a reserved feature, a reader who has not subscribed reads the introduction and the first tips, then the app invites them to subscribe. You choose article by article what stays free, with at least ten reserved pieces of content, and a badge in your colors marks the others.

One message for subscribers, another for free readers

Notifications can be targeted by subscription status

Announce the feature of the month to your subscribers, and present the free trial to readers who have not subscribed yet, with a different message. Automatic pushes go out with every article, with the prefix of your choice; scheduled pushes arrive at each reader's local time.

A practical worksheet with every feature

The PDF to print or fill in, attached to the article

A feature on procrastination ends with its worksheet: the five-step plan, the weekly table. Attach it as a PDF to the article, and your readers download it from their phone.

Readers react under the articles

Comments you moderate, before or after they are published

Switch on comments for the articles you choose: an email alerts you to each new comment, and you publish it, keep it as a draft or moderate it. The questions that keep coming back become the topic of a future feature.

Every article is credited; your contributors write in the back office, with their own rights.

Scheduled publishing

Write ahead and schedule the release date of each article.

Bookmarks

Your readers save an article to read it again.

No ads for your subscribers

If the app shows ads, one option removes them for your subscribers.

AI in your magazine app

Three concrete uses, with their price.
To answer

An assistant that cites your articles

“How do I stop putting everything off?” The Chatbot answers from your articles and shows the ones its answer comes from. Reserve it for your subscribers, or let others ask it about the free articles.
29€/month
To self-assess

A ten-question quiz that points to a section

Describe the section in the back office, for example a self-confidence quiz that suggests a section based on the answers, and the AI Extension Builder generates it in your app, in your design.

To operate

The feature of the month published from Claude or ChatGPT

The MCP server connects your app to the AI assistant you already use: you ask it to publish the feature and schedule the notification, you confirm, it runs on your app.
Included

The monthly magazine

A reserved feature every month, announced to subscribers by a push; free readers get the invitation to the trial.

The blog that goes paid

Its older articles stay free; the new features, with their worksheet, are reserved for subscribers.

The author who talks more than they write

When episodes matter more than articles, the podcast app is a better fit: early releases, background listening, episode notes.
The personal development podcast app

Three media, three ways to get read

What about yours? Create the app, publish your first articles and test it for 30 days, no credit card required.

Personal development magazine app: frequently asked questions

Can I turn an existing blog into an app?

Yes: the app can show your blog's articles through its feed, but only articles published in the GoodBarber CMS can be reserved for subscribers. Keep the feed for free articles, and write your reserved features in the CMS.

Do my current subscribers get their subscription in the app?

Not automatically: the app's subscription is bought on the App Store or Google Play, and a subscription taken elsewhere is not recognized there. From the back office, you can gift a subscription to a reader, for the length of your choice.

Do I need a native app?

Yes, to sell: the subscription is bought in the iOS and Android apps, with the reader's Apple or Google account. The web app must also be switched on, with a domain name installed; your subscribers then read their articles there from a computer.

What commission is taken on subscriptions?

None for GoodBarber. On each subscription, Apple and Google keep their share: 15% in most cases, 30% at Apple during a subscriber's first year if you are not enrolled in its small business program.

Do free articles help me get found on Google?

They can also be read in the web app, whose pages can be found by search engines. A reserved article only shows non-subscribers the preview you set.
