A club you enter by invitation

Visitors see the house; members see what you reserve for them

Authentication gives each client a login; User groups let you decide, from the back office, who is a member. Anyone can download the app and discover the house, but the reserved sections only open to the members you have placed in the group. Create several groups if you need them, clients and press for example: a member can belong to more than one.

The preview, before the public presentation

Lookbooks, fitting videos, the story of a piece

Publish the lookbook of the next collection, a video shot in the atelier or the story of an embroidery in a section only the club can open. When the collection is revealed to everyone, move the article to a public section: your members saw it first.

Private events, announced to members only

Trunk shows, private sales, atelier visits: an agenda and a targeted push

Put your private appointments in an Agenda section reserved for the club: date, time, address, dress code. Addressed to the club's group, a push reaches members only; schedule it for the day before. Members ask for their seat through a form, and the answers reach you by email.

Opening the club: four settings

In this order, from the back office.
  1. Accounts

Turn on Authentication so that each client creates an account.
  2. The club group

Create the group, and add your clients to it as you invite them.
  3. Reserved sections

Choose the sections only the group can open: previews, events, the atelier.
  4. The public part

The house, the boutiques, the contact page and the request form, open to all.

The public face of the house

The house, the boutiques, a request to join

What visitors see is up to you: the history of the house, the boutiques on a map with their opening hours, a contact page, and a form to ask to join the club. Each request reaches you by email; you add the person to the group if you accept.

The couture house

Its private clients see the next collection a week before everyone else, and receive the invitation to the salon presentation by push.

The jeweler

The club's section shows one-of-a-kind pieces before they reach the window; a member asks to see one through the form.

The luxury magazine

When the model is paid reading rather than invitation, a magazine sold by subscription suits better.
The fashion magazine app

Three houses, three private clubs

Your house? Open a first reserved section and try it: the trial lasts 30 days and asks for no payment details.

The club's app, beyond the previews

Videos from the atelier

Craft, fittings, the making of a piece, in a reserved video section.

The boutiques on a map

Addresses, hours and directions, one tap away.

A contact page

Call the boutique or write to the client advisor.

Several groups

Clients, press, partners: each group sees its own sections.

A design that looks like the house

Your fonts, colors and layouts, applied to every screen.

A web app

The public part of the app also opens in a browser.

Luxury fashion club app: your questions

Can members pay a membership fee in the app?

No: this app is built on invitation, with Authentication and User groups, and that setup cannot be combined with Memberships, the subscription sold through the stores. If your club has a fee, it is paid outside the app, as today.

How does a client join the club?

First they sign up in the app; then you add them to the club's group in the back office. Before that step, only the public pages are visible to them. A request form collects the requests of people you don't know yet.

Can I sell pieces from the collection in the app?

Not in this app, which has no cart. Present the pieces, and direct members to the boutique or their client advisor. Online sales are handled by another GoodBarber product, the eCommerce app.

Can a notification reach only the club?

Yes: a push can target a user group, so the invitation to a private sale only reaches its members. It goes out right away or at the time you schedule.

Can a client book a private fitting?

Yes, with the Appointment booking extension: each slot takes one booking and triggers a confirmation email, to you and to the client. Nothing is paid at booking.

What budget for a luxury club app?

Count Premium for the store apps, plus two options, Authentication and User groups; on Pro, both come built in. Hosting, pushes and updates are covered by the plan.

What a private club app costs

The apps for iPhone and Android require at least Premium. The club itself runs on two options, Authentication and User groups, both built into Pro. There is no subscription module to pay for, since members come in by invitation.
Premium · iOS, Android, web55€ /month, billed yearly
Authentication, with Premium12€ /month
User groups, with Premium5€ /month
Pro · Authentication and User groups included105€ /month, billed yearly
Your developer accounts with Apple and Google are a separate cost, paid to them.
