Every show, its time and its venue

The schedule in an Agenda section, the venues on a map

Enter each show as an event: designer, time, venue, with a photo and the address. Guests see the day's program at a glance, add a show to their phone's calendar and open the venue on the map for directions. When a show runs late or moves to another room, update the event and send a push to everyone who installed the app.

A press area for accredited media only

Press kits, show notes, backstage access: a section the Press group opens

Journalists create an account in the app; once their accreditation is confirmed, you place them in the Press group from the back office. They then open a section reserved for them: press kits, show notes, the link to your photo library, practical information for backstage access. A push sent to the group reaches them alone, such as “Photos from show 12 are online”.

Buyers and designers get their own sections too

One group per audience, each with its information

Create as many groups as you have audiences: buyers with their showroom appointments, designers with their backstage call times and fitting schedules, volunteers with their shifts. A person can belong to several groups, and each group only sees what concerns it, alongside the public program.

The show live, and a welcome at the door

Live Video for those who are not in the room, Geofencing for those who arrive

Stream the shows with Live Video, from your broadcasting provider, for everyone who could not get a seat. At the venue, Geofencing greets guests as they cross a perimeter drawn around the building, with the door to use and the opening time; phones that refused location sharing do not receive it.

Preparing the app before the first show: four steps

To do a few weeks before opening night.
  1. The program

One event per show in the Agenda, with time, venue and designer.
  2. The venues

A Map section with each venue, its address and its entrance.
  3. The groups

Turn on Authentication, create the Press, Buyers and Designers groups and their reserved sections.
  4. The messages

Alerts drafted in advance, and a Geofencing perimeter around each venue.

The media covering the shows

When the goal is to sell your reviews rather than run an event, the fashion magazine app is a better fit.

The cost of a fashion week app

Fashion week app: organizers' questions

Can guests buy their show tickets in the app?

No: the app has no ticketing. A button leads to the service where you already sell your seats, and the app handles the program, the venues and the notifications.

How do we check that a journalist is accredited?

Your team checks, as it does today, then places the account in the Press group from the back office. Until then, the journalist only sees the public program.

Can we charge for access to the live broadcast?

No: this app, built on user groups, does not sell subscriptions, and a live section cannot be reserved for subscribers. The live stays open to all app users.

Can we alert only the people near the venue?

Yes. A push can be aimed at a region or a city, and the Geofencing perimeter around the venue triggers its own message for guests arriving with location sharing on.

Can each designer update their own page?

Give them a team login to the back office: an Admin or User role, with content, push and update rights granted one by one. How many team logins you get varies with the plan.

What does a fashion event app cost?

Premium covers the store apps, Geofencing and push; Authentication and User groups are added for the press area and the other reserved sections, unless you pick Pro, which bundles them.
