Your budgeting lessons, as short videos

Tracking spending, getting out of overdraft, building an emergency fund

Sort your videos by stage: understanding where the money goes, building a monthly budget, paying off debts in the right order, putting money aside. Under each video, an article recaps the method, and an attached PDF provides the table to fill in. The first lessons stay open; the full program is reserved for subscribers, monthly or yearly.

A savings simulator, built by describing it

A goal, a deadline, the amount to set aside each month

In the back office, tell the AI Extension Builder what you want: “the user enters a goal, for example 3,000 for an emergency fund, and a date; the section shows how much to save each month”. The section appears in your app with your branding, and you touch it up by chatting with the tool. It's an example: this simulator works out a savings effort, it promises no return.

Education, not investment advice

You teach people to manage a budget; you don't tell them where to invest

Your app teaches methods: reading a bank statement, comparing two loans, setting a savings goal. It recommends no financial product and announces no return. Say so on an “About” page and in every lesson that touches on savings; anything that amounts to personal advice is handled outside the app, within the scope of your professional status.

Launching your financial education program: the steps

What you prepare before opening subscriptions.
  1. The lessons

Ten locked lessons or more, plus a handful of free ones that make the case.
  2. The simulator

A section created with the AI Extension Builder, to test before going live.
  3. The offer

Monthly, yearly or both, a price specific to each store, and a free trial if you see fit.
  4. The web version and the domain

Two conditions for selling: the web version switched on and a domain name installed.

What AI adds to your lessons

Three more uses, and their price.
To answer

A Chatbot that sticks to your lessons

“Where do I start when I have three loans running?” The Chatbot stays within what your articles say; it knows nothing about the person's accounts or situation. Without a subscription, people only get the answers the free lessons allow.
29€/month
To calculate

A second tool: how long a repayment takes

Same principle as the savings simulator: “a debt, a monthly payment, and the number of months to clear it”. The AI Extension Builder generates it in the app, and you check it before publishing.

The week's lesson planned with ChatGPT

The MCP server links your app to ChatGPT or Claude: you ask it to schedule Monday's article and its notification, you confirm, the assistant takes care of it.

How much does a financial education app cost?

Count on the Premium plan for the iPhone and Android apps, to be completed with Memberships; the Pro plan builds it in. Building your simulators costs nothing extra; only the Chatbot is a paid option.
Premium · iOS, Android and web55€ /month, billed yearly
Memberships, for Premium49€ /month
Chatbot, optional29€ /month
Pro · Memberships already there105€ /month, billed yearly
On subscriptions, Apple and Google take their commission, often 15%; GoodBarber deducts nothing. Developer accounts are paid to the stores.

Financial education app: frequently asked questions

Can I recommend investments in the app?

The app publishes what you write; it neither checks nor endorses anything. This page is about education: budgets, debt, savings. Recommending investments is often a regulated activity: check your own status before going there.

Does the savings simulator come with the app?

No: it's an example of a section you create yourself with the AI Extension Builder, by describing it. You choose what it calculates and you test it before publishing.

Do my subscribers see their bank accounts in the app?

No: the app accesses no bank account. The tools you create work on the figures the person types in.

Can I sell a single module?

No: one subscription unlocks every paid lesson, and everyone gets the same access. What you choose is the length, monthly or yearly.

How much of each subscription do I keep?

The price the subscriber pays, minus the store's share: 15% most of the time, sometimes 30% at Apple during the first year (unless you qualify for its small business program). GoodBarber gets nothing.

Which plan for a financial education app?

Pro includes subscription sales; Premium needs them as an option. The Chatbot is an optional extra. On the web side, you need an active web version on your domain.
GoodBarber sells your financial education lessons by subscription in your own app, with no GoodBarber commission
Reserved budgeting videos and articles, PDF worksheets, a savings simulator made with the AI Extension Builder, the monthly challenge, targeted notifications, a Chatbot on your lessons.
