Monday: the new routines are in the app

Each song broken down, then danced at tempo, announced by push

Film each new routine twice: once slowly, eight counts at a time, with the cues you call in class; once at tempo, from the first beat to the last. Publish on Monday and an automatic notification tells your students; by Thursday's class, they already know the chorus.

What a choreography page holds

The breakdown

Block by block, slowed down, filmed from the front and then from behind so students can mirror you.

The full routine

At tempo, to rehearse without stopping.

The no-jump version

The same steps in low impact, for knees that need it.

The written counts

The sequence noted under the videos: verse, chorus, bridge.

The song title

So students can find it and play it at home.

A bookmark

Routines still being learned, kept close at hand.

The whole repertoire, neatly sorted

By style, by season, by intensity

Past weeks' routines don't disappear: they join the repertoire, sorted the way you teach, Latin, pop, warm-ups, cool-downs, or by term. A student who missed three weeks catches up on the choreographies before coming back. Keep a handful open to everyone; the others go behind the subscription, which opens once ten or more routines are reserved.

Classes are paid at the gym, videos in the app

The subscription opens the filmed repertoire, never a spot in class

The fee for your classes is still paid where you teach. What students buy in the app is access to the videos, for a month or for a year, in one tap on their phone, with the store account they already have. Every subscriber gets the full repertoire.

The instructor who teaches at three clubs

Her students come from three gyms; the app brings them together around the same routines, whichever gym they dance at on Thursday.

The instructor who also teaches seniors

A gentle series, seated or next to a chair, joins the cardio routines in the same repertoire.

The dance school

When the job is registration, trial lessons and the end-of-year show, it calls for a different app.

Three instructors, three ways to use it

And you? Your first routine can be online well within the 30-day trial, and no card is asked to start.

Videos, bandwidth and music

No bandwidth charges; music rights are yours to check

Your routines sit in the storage included in your plan, and students can watch them as often as they like without a bandwidth charge. Music, however, is your responsibility: the licence that covers your classes does not always cover videos published online. Check with your music rights organization, or dance to tracks licensed for that use.

How much does a dance fitness app cost?

Two ways to sell your filmed choreographies: on Premium, add Memberships for your routines; on Pro, it is there from day one. Both include the native apps, hosting and automatic notifications; bandwidth is never billed on top.
Premium · iPhone and Android55€ /month, billed yearly
Memberships, Premium option49€ /month
Pro · Memberships on board105€ /month, billed yearly
On your students' subscriptions, GoodBarber takes nothing; Apple or Google keeps its share, generally 15%. Developer accounts are paid separately, straight to the stores.

Dance fitness app: questions from instructors

Can my students pay for my classes in the app?

No: the app sells access to your videos, nothing else. Classes are paid at the gym or directly to you, as they are today.

Can I use the songs from my classes in the videos?

That depends on your music licence, not on the app: check that it covers videos published online, or choose tracks licensed for that use.

How do students know a new routine is out?

An automatic push goes out as soon as you publish in the choreography section; you can also schedule a message on Wednesday evening, the night before class.

Can I prepare the week's page from my AI assistant?

Yes: once the MCP server connects it to your app, your assistant can create the article that goes with your videos, lay out the counts from what you jotted down and schedule the push; each action waits for your confirmation.

Can new students try before paying?

Yes: the subscription can start with a free trial, during which a new student learns a few routines before deciding.

Can I give my regular students a special price?

The price is the same for everyone on a given store. For a student you want to invite, offer the subscription from the back office, at no cost.
