Three levels, three programs

Beginner, intermediate, advanced: every lifter starts where they are

Create one section per level and file your sessions in it: full body three times a week for beginners, an upper and lower body split for intermediates, a push, pull, legs rotation for advanced lifters. Each session is a video with its written plan right below: exercises, sets, reps, rest times. Leave the first week of each program open to everyone; the weeks after it are for subscribers.

A load calculator, built by describing it

Enter your max, get today's weight

In the back office, explain to the AI Extension Builder what you want: “a calculator where the lifter enters their one-rep max for the squat, bench press or deadlift, picks a percentage, and sees the weight to lift and the plates to slide on each side of the bar.” The section appears in the app with your colors and fonts; you refine it by rephrasing the request or by editing the code. It is only an example: the same tool can also produce a rest timer or a warm-up set planner.

Paid access, in one tap

Monthly or yearly, collected by Apple or Google

Lifters subscribe on their phone, iPhone or Android, with the payment method their store already holds. You offer a monthly length, a yearly one, or both, and price them store by store; a free trial helps a hesitant beginner take the step. One subscription opens everything: the beginner also sees the advanced program.

From training log to app: four steps

Before the first subscriber shows up.
  1. Film by level

One section per level, one video per session; ten paid sessions or more.
  2. Write the plans

Under each video: exercises, sets, reps, rest, and the tempo if you prescribe one.
  3. Describe the calculator

One sentence to the AI Extension Builder, then a test with your own numbers.
  4. Set the prices

Monthly, yearly, trial; the web app and your domain name must be live before you sell.

Around the sessions

An exercise library

A short video per movement, with the cues you shout across the gym floor below it.

Bookmarks

A lifter keeps the leg day they like best and gets back to it in one tap.

The calculator within thumb's reach

Between two sets, without leaving the app.

A guided tour

App Walkthrough presents the three levels on first launch.

An alert for each new program

Automatic push on publication, scheduled push for Monday's session.

Access from a browser

Once subscribed, lifters can also open their programs in a browser.

Heavy videos, a light bill

Bandwidth is not billed; storage follows your plan

A 45-minute session filmed in high definition is a big file. Uploaded to the app, it takes its place in the storage your plan provides, larger on Pro than on Premium; each viewing, on the other hand, costs you nothing, since bandwidth is not counted.

What a bodybuilding app costs

Selling subscriptions requires the native apps: Premium is the base, Memberships comes on top; Pro includes it from the start. On the AI side, the AI Extension Builder is free, and the plan covers hosting, push and updates.
Premium · native apps55€ /month, billed yearly
Memberships, on Premium49€ /month
Pro · Memberships built in105€ /month, billed yearly
GoodBarber keeps nothing of what your subscribers pay. On the store side, Apple and Google usually retain 15%, and Apple 30% over each subscriber's first twelve months when you are outside its small business program. Developer accounts are paid to the stores.

Bodybuilding app: your questions

Is the load calculator provided, or do I have to code it?

Neither: you describe the calculator you want to the AI Extension Builder, the tool builds the section, and then you fine-tune it. See it as one idea among others; check the formula with your own numbers before you publish the section.

Can a beginner and an advanced lifter pay different prices?

No: a single subscription opens all three programs. Only the length can change, monthly or yearly, and each store has its own price.

Can I sell supplements or equipment in the app?

Not in this one, which sells access to content and nothing else. A shop with products, a cart and delivery is GoodBarber's eCommerce app, a separate product.

Can my one-to-one coaching be part of the subscription?

No: the subscription opens videos and articles. Time with you is paid outside the app; for sessions your clients book themselves, see the personal trainer app.

Do lifters need a connection to follow a session?

Yes, the videos stream: at the gym, Wi-Fi or mobile data does the job. The number of viewings changes nothing on your bill.
