One path per technique
Video lessons sorted from the first line to the finished canvas
Arrange your lessons into paths: observational drawing, perspective, portraits, watercolor, oil painting. Each lesson pairs the video with an article that repeats the steps and the materials. The first lesson of each path stays open so people can discover how you teach; the rest are reserved for subscribers.

The student gallery
They send their work, you choose what goes on show
A form lets each student send a photo of their drawing, with the lesson they followed. You receive the submission by email, comment if you wish, and publish the chosen pieces in a gallery in the app, open to all. Visitors see what your students can do after a few weeks.

The illustrator
Her urban sketching tutorials become a twenty-lesson path, followed by subscribers who draw on Sundays.
The art school
It films the week's demonstrations for students who cannot attend and offers them to subscribers across the region.
The in-person studio
Do you mostly welcome students in your studio, by the term or for short courses? A booking app will suit you better.
Painting studio appPrintable templates
Grids, sketches, materials lists as PDFs
Attach the PDF of the model to copy, the transfer grid or the pigment list to the lesson. On a reserved lesson, the PDF stays hidden from non-subscribers; subscribers download and print it before picking up their brushes.

AI beside the easel
Three uses, and their price.
To advise
“How do I avoid blooms in watercolor?”
The Chatbot answers from your lesson articles and points to the right one; it does not watch the videos, which is why writing out the steps matters.

An interactive color chart

The week's lesson drafted by Claude
Your assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, writes the lesson article from your notes and schedules its release once linked to the app's MCP server; nothing goes out without your approval.

Art lessons app: frequently asked questions
Can I sell an in-studio course in the app?
No. The app's subscription gives access to the published lessons, nothing else; an in-person course is a matter for your studio. To handle studio sign-ups, see the painting studio app.
Can I offer a beginner price and an advanced price?
No, the subscription has a single access level: all subscribers see every reserved lesson. You choose the durations, monthly, yearly or both, and a free trial period if you wish.
Can the gallery be reserved for subscribers?
No, a gallery section stays public. To reserve images, tuck them into an article, below the preview, among the paragraphs only subscribers open.
My videos are on YouTube: can they be locked?
No: YouTube-fed sections cannot be locked, everyone sees them. Upload the videos you want to reserve to the app: their bandwidth is not billed, and they take up room in your plan's storage.
How many lessons do I need to launch the subscription?
Ten locked lessons is the floor; the web app must first be running on your own domain.
Which plan to sell drawing lessons?
Premium, adding Memberships to it, or Pro, which provides it by default. On Standard, limited to the web, there is no subscription.
Pricing for an art lessons app
Premium opens the App Store and Google Play; Memberships, which sells access to the lessons, is added as an option and is part of Pro. Videos, the gallery and the form are included.
| Premium · both stores plus the web | 55€ /month, billed yearly |
| Memberships (option) | 49€ /month |
| Pro · subscriptions included | 105€ /month, billed yearly |
Apple and Google charge their commission on subscriptions, often 15%; GoodBarber charges nothing.
