Create a language learning app
Language learning app for your school: audio lessons, a word of the day and a space for each level
Each student signs in and finds the lessons for their level, from A1 to C1; every morning, a new word lands on their phone.
A language school, a cultural center or a teacher who teaches in groups, in an iOS and Android app bearing its brand, built without coding: groups by level, audio lessons, a word of the day by notification, grammar sheets, a placement test form.

A space for each level
A1, A2, B1: each group opens its own sections
Create one user group per level and reserve its sections for it: lessons, grammar sheets, recordings, the week's homework. A B1 student only sees what concerns them. When they move up, you switch their group in the back office, and the new level's content appears.

Lessons to listen to
Dialogues, pronunciation, listening practice, offline
Publish your recordings as audio episodes in each level's section: a dialogue at the market, the tricky sounds, a dictation. In the iOS and Android apps, students listen with the screen off, and download them to review without a network on their commute.

Getting the school year ready
Four settings, once for the whole year.
The levels
Create one group per level, or per class if you run several at the same level. The sections
Reserve each group's lessons, sheets and homework for it.The test
A placement form helps you place new students. The students
Each one creates an account; you add them to their level's group.
The word of the day
A notification every morning, written once a week
On Sunday, write the week's seven notifications, each with its word, translation and an example, then schedule them for 8 a.m. Send them to the whole school or to one level only: “tener ganas de” for B1, “hola” for beginners. Students learn a word before they even open the app.

AI for practice between lessons
Three uses, and their cost.
To explain
A grammar question, in the student's language
The Chatbot draws on your grammar sheets, replies in the language the student wrote in, and points to the sheet the explanation comes from. Sheets differ by level? Plan a separate Chatbot for each level group, placed in its reserved section, since a single assistant would read every sheet.

To practice
A conjugation exercise
For example a section that gives a verb and a tense and checks the answer: describe it to the AI Extension Builder, which builds it in the back office.
Free
To schedule
The week's seven words, in one sentence
Through the MCP server, your Claude or ChatGPT reaches the app; give it your list: it prepares the seven word-of-the-day notifications, shows them to you and only schedules them once you agree.
Included
School life in the app
A message to one class
Lesson moved, room changed: the push only reaches that group.
Bookmarks
Students keep the sheets they review most often.
One student, several groups
English B2 and Spanish A1, in the same account.
School news
Conversation clubs, stays abroad, exams, in a section open to all.
A web app
Their level's sections also open on a computer.
Language school app: directors' questions
Can we sell the lessons by subscription in the same app?
Not with groups by level: a GoodBarber app picks one of two setups, accounts and groups on one side, Memberships on the other. A school selling online access open to anyone would choose the latter, with a single access level.
Can a student change level during the year?
Yes: you remove them from one group and add them to another in the back office. The sections follow at once.
Can students listen to lessons offline?
Yes, episodes can be downloaded in the iOS and Android apps for offline listening, and keep playing with the screen locked.
Can the Chatbot mark homework?
No. It answers from the content published in the app, with its sources; marking remains the teachers' job.
Who can publish the lessons?
Your teachers, from their team accounts: three with the Premium plan, as many as needed with Pro.
Which plan for a language school?
Premium, to which User groups and Authentication are added; or Pro, which already contains both extensions. The Standard plan cannot manage student accounts.
The cost of a language school app
Premium publishes the app in the stores; the student area depends on two extensions, User groups and Authentication, optional on Premium, included in Pro. Podcasts, notifications and sheets cost nothing more.
| Premium · iOS, Android and web version | 55€ /month, billed yearly |
| Authentication (Premium option) | 12€ /month |
| User groups (Premium option) | 5€ /month |
| Pro · student accounts and groups included | 105€ /month, billed yearly |
The school sells nothing through the app: no commission. At Apple and Google, the developer account is billed by the store.
Extension Store
For a language school: User groups and Authentication (optional with Premium, part of Pro), podcasts, notifications, sheets, the placement form, the Chatbot, the AI Extension Builder, the MCP server.
