The street's coupons, in every shopper's account

Dated, limited in number, redeemed at the counter

With Couponing, create a coupon for each participating shop: a discount on a second item at the shoe shop, a free alteration at the tailor's, valid for two weeks and limited in number. Shoppers keep it in their account and show it at the counter, where the shop redeems it; each coupon can be used once per shopper. Announce the week's coupons with a push on Thursday evening.

One loyalty card for the whole street

A stamp in each participating shop, a reward chosen together

With the Loyalty card, shoppers earn a stamp with each purchase by scanning the QR code, printed from the back office, that each participating shop displays at its counter. You set the number of stamps, the reward, such as a voucher to spend in the street, and the expiry date, plus a minimum delay between two stamps. With the Club card, regular shoppers move up levels, each with its perk.

Every shop on the map

Fashion, shoes, accessories: the shops by category, with their hours and directions

Add each shop to a Map section, with its photo, its opening hours and its phone number. Create one section per category, fashion, shoes, cafés, so shoppers go straight to what they are looking for and open directions in one tap. A shop's page links to its current coupon.

A message when shoppers walk into the street

Geofencing on arrival, targeted push for the neighborhood

Draw an area around the street: with Geofencing, a shopper who walks into it receives your message, such as “Late-night shopping until 9 p.m. today”; only people who allowed the app to use their location get it. For a sidewalk sale weekend, a push notification can also target a geographic area, so the town's residents hear about it and people who live far away don't.

Launching the street's app: four steps

What the association sets up, with the participating shops.
  1. The shops

One map entry per shop, with hours, photo and category.
  2. Accounts

Turn on Authentication: coupons and the loyalty card are tied to each shopper's account.
  3. The card and the coupons

Number of stamps, reward and expiry for the card; the first coupons, with their dates and quantities.
  4. The area

The Geofencing zone around the street, and its message.

Shopping street app: questions from traders

Can shoppers buy from the shops in the app?

No: this app brings shoppers to the street, it has no cart. A shop that wants to sell online uses GoodBarber's eCommerce app, with its catalog, sizes and checkout.

Do shoppers need an account?

Yes, for the coupons and the loyalty card, which are tied to their account: the app uses Authentication. The map, the shop pages and the events stay open without signing in.

How is a coupon checked at the counter?

The shopper shows the coupon in the app and the shop redeems it; each coupon works once per shopper. Conditions, such as a minimum purchase, are written in the coupon and checked by the shop.

Can a push reach only people nearby?

Yes: a notification can target a geographic area, and Geofencing sends a message to people who enter the area you draw, if they have allowed access to their location.

Can each shop publish its own offers?

Shops can have a staff account in the back office to publish their articles and coupons; the number of staff accounts depends on your plan. Otherwise, the association publishes for everyone.

What budget for the street's app?

The Premium plan for the native apps, plus Authentication, which coupons and the card require, the Loyalty card and Couponing; the Pro plan includes Authentication. Geofencing and push notifications are free from Premium.

How much does a shopping street app cost?

Store apps begin at the Premium plan. Three options carry the deals: Authentication, which the Pro plan includes, and the Loyalty card and Couponing, which remain options on both plans. The map, the events, push and Geofencing cost nothing more.
