The weekly challenge, every Monday

A brief goes live, a notification goes out, and the community gets to work

Every Monday, publish the brief: a poster for an imaginary festival, a three-color logo, a letterform to reinterpret. The automatic notification goes out with the article. Participants send their work through a form with a photo field, before Sunday night as the brief says, and you choose which pieces make it into the gallery.

A members' gallery, curated by you

The week's strongest pieces, captioned with their author's name

Entries land in your back office; you pick the best and publish them in a photo gallery, each image with its author's handle and portfolio address. The gallery stays public: it is the community's shop window, the one that makes people want to take on the next challenge and subscribe for the rest.

One challenge from start to finish: your week, in practice

Four moves, from brief to critique.
  1. Monday, the brief

A public article with the subject, the constraints and the deadline; automatic push announces it.
  2. All week, the entries

The form collects each participant's image, handle and portfolio link.
  3. Friday, the selection

You publish the pieces you picked in the week's gallery.
  4. Sunday, the critique

A reserved article takes three entries apart: hierarchy, color, type choices.

Your premium resources, as reserved articles

Tutorials, case studies, cheat sheets: the subscription opens everything

Write your resources as articles: building a grid step by step, a teardown of a visual identity, a commented selection of palettes. The preview stays readable up to the paragraph you set, and the rest is for subscribers. A PDF attached to a reserved article, such as a printable grid, is hidden from non-subscribers.

Graphic designer community app: FAQ

Where do my members discuss the entries?

Under articles, through comments. Chat and Community, on the other hand, don't work with Memberships: an app chooses between selling by subscription and group spaces.

Can I reserve the members' gallery for subscribers?

No, a photo gallery section can't be reserved. Leave it public, it's your best shop window; to reserve visuals, place them in the reserved paragraphs of an article.

Do participants publish their work themselves?

No: they send it through the form, and you publish. Nothing enters the gallery unless you choose it.

Can I share files to download?

A PDF attached to an article, yes, and it stays hidden from non-subscribers if the article is reserved. For heavy source files, put a link to your storage space in the reserved article.

How many resources do I need before opening subscriptions?

At least ten reserved pieces of content. Keep a few resources open too: they're what a visitor reads before subscribing.

Which plan for a designers' app?

Pro already contains subscription sales; with Premium, add Memberships. To get paid, the web version must run on a domain you own.
