Create an electrician app
Electrician app: EV chargers, rewiring and smart homes, starting with a booked site visit
Your customers answer the questions that matter before a charger goes in, book the site visit that comes before your quote and browse finished jobs, sorted by project.
Built without code, your electrical contracting app ships to the App Store and Google Play, plus a web version: an EV charger questionnaire with a photo of the panel, site visits early in the morning or late in the day, past projects by type and a call button for repairs.

An EV charger, from first question to quote
Before you price a charger, you need to know where the car sleeps, how far away the panel is and what shape that panel is in.
The charger questionnaire
A Form asks for the vehicle model, where it's parked, the rough distance to the panel and a photo of that panel with its door open. Each submission reaches you by email, ahead of any visit. The booked site visit
The customer then picks a 45-minute slot in the "Site visit" section. On site, you measure the cable run, open the panel and check the size of the electrical service. The quote, then install day
The quote goes out from your usual software. Once it's signed, you block the install day on your Google Calendar; in the app, a short news post announces your next open week.
The site visit, in 45-minute slots
The booking form prepares the visit, and Google Calendar keeps the answers
The customer picks a date, then one of the 45-minute slots still open. The booking form asks for the address, a phone number, the project in one line, charger, panel, smart home or lighting, and whether the charger questionnaire has been sent. All of it shows up in the confirmation email that you and the customer both receive, then in the Google Calendar event: from the van, you reread the project before you knock. If the customer can no longer make it, they free up the slot themselves, and the visit drops off your calendar.

Visits before and after the job
Two short windows, 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m., and job days entered in Google Calendar
A rewiring job keeps you on site from morning to evening, sometimes for a whole week. So open visits only from 7:30 to 9 a.m., before you head to the job, and from 5:30 to 7 p.m., on your way back: four slots a day. Each job day goes into Google Calendar as a one-off event; set as all-day, it also closes those two windows, whereas an event from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. leaves them open. A minimum notice of 24 hours gives you time to read the questionnaire, and your vacation goes in as exceptional closures.

Your past projects, sorted by type
A charger in the garage
The parking spot, the panel, the cable along the wall, the charger in place: four photos and a line on the power level chosen.
An outdoor charger
Pedestal, buried conduit, a bollard against bumps: what the backfilled trench later hides from the customer.
A panel upgrade
The old fuse box next to the new panel, breakers labeled: the photo future customers compare with their own panel.
Rewiring an older apartment
Channels cut in the walls, new conduit, added outlets, light fixtures moved: one article per job, with how many days it took.
A smart apartment
Blinds, heating and lighting run from the phone: a short video of the "I'm leaving" scene says more than a long paragraph.

Chargers with one, smart homes with the other
One visit section per specialty, linked to the calendar of the electrician who'll do the job
With two or three of you, each often has a specialty: Tom installs chargers, Julie wires blinds and scenes. Create a "Charger visit" section on Tom's Google Calendar and a "Smart home visit" section on Julie's, with one-hour slots if her visits run longer. Customers pick their project, not a name, and the visit lands with whoever will do the work. Each section reads only its own electrician's calendar: while Tom installs a charger across the county, Julie's visits stay open. Since the booking form serves both sections, keep its questions neutral.

How much does an electrician app cost?
Premium is the plan that puts your app on iPhone and Android. The Form behind the charger questionnaire, your project articles and the call button cost nothing extra. Making site visits bookable takes Appointment booking, which you add to Premium for an extra fee, while Pro already includes it. The Chatbot stays optional.
| Premium · your electrician app, iPhone, Android and web version | 55€ /month, on annual billing |
| Appointment booking for site visits, as a Premium option | 15€ /month |
| Pro · Appointment booking is part of the plan | 105€ /month, on annual billing |
Not in the plan: the Apple developer account and the Google one, each paid directly to them.
Electricians: your questions about the app
What should I ask before installing an EV charger?
Whatever drives the quote: the vehicle model, where it spends the night (garage, driveway, outdoor lot, a spot in a condo garage), the distance to the panel, the size of the electrical service and a photo of the panel. The Form asks with drop-down lists and multiple choice, quicker to fill in than free text. You're alerted to each submission by email, and the answers export to CSV from the back office.
Can I get a photo of the panel before the visit?
Yes, through the Form's file field: a photo or a short video, panel door open, nothing taken apart. The booking form itself accepts no attachments, hence the detour through the questionnaire. For a utility bill in PDF, ask for a photo instead: the native iPhone app doesn't send PDFs.
Do my job days block site visits?
Yes, once they're in the Google Calendar linked to the visit section, and only for the hours they cover. Entered as all-day, a rewiring job closes everything that day, morning and evening visits included; entered from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., it leaves those two windows open. A four-day job fits in one single event.
What about repair calls, can customers book them?
No, and the page says so in one line: if something stops working, call. Your number sits on the contact page, one tap away, along with your repair hours if you take such calls.
Can I show the incentives available for EV chargers?
Yes, in an article you write yourself: the programs you know of locally, their conditions, the date of your last update and a link to the official source. The app calculates no amounts and checks no eligibility: promise nothing there. When a program changes, a push notification points all your users to the revised article.
Can my customers put down a deposit in the app?
No: neither the visit nor the installation is paid there, and nothing is collected at booking. If you bill for the site visit, or credit it against a signed quote, say so in an article next to the section; settling up happens outside the app.
Are my quotes done in the app?
No, they stay in your quoting software. The app only gathers what you need to quote the job: questionnaire answers, panel photos, the visit details on your calendar. It doesn't handle your stock or your invoicing, and it isn't connected to any of those tools.
