The simplest grinding job is where just one side of the workpiece is to be machined. Face grinding is employed for this purpose. Where a workpiece is to be ground with two parallel faces we have a choice of two procedures. Each side can be ground in a separate pass using one and the same machine, which of course takes longer. Alternatively, LINEAR ABRASIVE will supply a machine to grind both sides in a single pass. In economic terms, that is the more elegant solution.
